• dec 12/05 - played the midnight spot in Federation SQ (Melbourne) with the Borderers. Great way to bring in the new year.
  • oct 5/05 - left for Los Angeles for a week of rehearsal with Veruca Salt before touring the states in promo of the new EP Lords of Sounds and Lesser Things.
  • oct 3/05- flew down to Hobart for another great show with Glen Shorrock and Brian Cadd at the famous Wrest Point Casino.
  • aug 31/05 - another great show at the Wheatsheaf in Adelaide with HuckleBerry Swedes. Thanks to SouthPaw and The Yearlings for helping us out.
  • aug 20/05- had rockin night with Melbourne soul bros Jellywhip at the Vineyard in St Kilda featuring Simon Burke (Something for Kate) on keys.
  • aug 5/05 - played to a sold out Capri Theatre in Adelaide with Glen Shorrock and Brian Cadd ... Rick Price also played an amazing solo set. What a great room!!!
  • june 19/05 - had a great turn out for the Huckleberry Swedes cd launch at the Wheatsheaf in Adelaide. Melbourne shows were just as good, particularly the Palais in Hepburn Springs.
  • may 19/05 - headed into Sing Sing studios (melb) for 7 days to record an album for John Schumann (REDGUM) with some special guests such as Broderick Smith, Shane Howard and Russell Morris. Was great working with Kerryn Tolhurst who produced the album.
  • may 8/05 - whipped down to Lorne on the Great Ocean Road to do a show with Melbourne groovers Jellywhip
  • may 1/05 - flew up to brisbane with Brian Cadd and played the Woodstock Downunder Festival with Barnesy, Ian Moss and Billy Thorpe. Great show .. the crowd were fantastic.
  • april - just finished recording 4 tracks for the upcoming Huckleberry Swedes EP which has been a joy to play on. Start hitting the venues of Melbourne late this month to get it out there.
  • march 30/05- drank some nice reds while playing in the Barossa Valley (SA) with Glen Shorrock and Brian Cadd.
  • march 23-29/05 played a week of full houses in Brisbane with Russell Morris and Brian Cadd.
  • march 12/05 - took the Pt Fairy festival by storm with those mad celtic rockers The Borderers.

 

Hi and welcome. I've set up this webpage as a rough idea of what I've done and what I'm doing in the topsy turvy world of the music biz. I've been lucky enough to be a professional drummer for 16 years or so and played with many bands and artists. I've added some short compilation mp3's to the site with some of the highlights of the last fews years plus some recent recordings.

I'm currently living in sunny Melbourne (AUS) but have just returned from a 2 month tour of the US playing for legendary chick rockers VERUCA SALT. There are some photos of the tour on the Pics page or you can check the online tour diary from buzznet. here

Touring Australia with Mr Mustang Sally himself Andrew Strong (The Committments) to promote a "Best Of " cd, plus new songs through May-June 06.

Travelling to Ipswich (QLD) with John Schumann, Russell Morris, Rob Hirst...and the Vagabond Crew to play a special Anzac day concert. Also a possible trip to Vietnam in August for the 40th anniversary of Long Tan Day.

After an incredibly successful trip to the Tamworth Festival earlier this year the Huckleberry Swedes are now on the main bill for the massive Gympie Muster (just north of Brisbane) in late August.
